詹德仁茶園民宿

茶園のオーナの詹徳仁は、1989から地元でお茶を植え始めました。2000年に新しい土地を購入してそして新茶種と言われた金萱茶の栽培を始めました。2009年の8月、台風に被害され、土砂災害で地層が落下しため、11月に詹氏は毅然として新しい家の建設に決意をしました。この新しい家は此の新しい上始めた金萱茶畑の前方に位置します。

金萱茶畑の栽培には、伝統的な方法であり、「慣例栽培法」と言われています。自然かつ、ヘルシー志向のために、使用する肥料は主に植物のかすや大豆の殻を揚げたもので。農薬の使用するのを減らして、茶の木はとても立派になっています。

そのほか、政府が推奨している生産と販売の履歴制度（TPA）に参加し、定期的に土壌、水、および茶の自身の化学の物質の検査に従っています。すべては安全な良いお茶を生産するためです。

奥さんはは料理が得意で、その上詹氏の長い間のを叶うのに、夫婦は新しい家で民宿を経営することにしました。お二人が暖かいの笑顔で、いつも旅行者たちが自分の家に帰るのようにリラックスできる宿と評判になっています。末子の娘が平日は公務員の仕事を持ち、休暇の時に、来訪の観光客を連れ、山をハイキングし、夏の夜にはホタルを鑑賞しています。さらに、一年中、山に登って日の出を見に行っているのも観光客の醍醐味になっています。

Story of De-Ren tea garden

The tea garden owner, De-Ren, Jan, has been planting tea since 1989 in the village where he grew up. In year 2000, he purchased the new land from his wife’s family, and started planting Jin Xuan tea on the new land. In August of 2009, Typhoon Morakot stroke his village and caused severe mudslide and land subsidence. After the strike of the typhoon, De-Ren, Jan felt the village was not safe to stay anymore, so in November of the same year he decided to build his new house in his newly purchased land. The newly built house was located just in front of his Jin Xuan tea garden. 

De-Ren, Jan planted his Jin Xuan tea trees applying the traditional farming method. But due to health oriented thinking, he used plants’ residuals as the fertilizer, and gradually decreased the use of pesticides. All the tea trees grew strong and healthy. Besides, to comply with government supported TAP system, De-Ren, Jan regularly inspected the chemical residuals of the soil, the water for irrigation, and the tea leaves to ensure that his tea is not only in good quality but also safe and healthy.

Mr. Jan had a hope for a long time. In addition, Mrs. Jan is good at cooking. So, Mr. and Mrs. Jan decided to operate Bed & Breakfast in their newly built home. With Mr. and Mrs. Jan’s kind and warm attitude, the guests staying in the house will feel relaxed and feel like coming home in spirit. The youngest daughter, Yi-Jen, is a good helper at home. On holidays, she will lead guests to explore mountainous trails and to see sunrise on the mountain. Besides, in the nights of spring and summer, Yi-Jen and guests will go to see fireflies together.
